When I look back at some of the most supportive people in my life, Aimee Raupp’s name is on that list. I met Aimee through an introduction at a publishing event and was smitten with her immediately (she also had incredibly beautiful skin, and I later found out why.) Ultimately, she became my anchor for nurturing and connecting to my body on my road to pregnancy–Including panicked texts, copious “prescriptions” of bone broth and spirulina, incredible acupuncture, and hugs–the best hugs.
Aimee Raupp, is a renowned women’s health & wellness expert and the best- selling author of the books Chill Out & Get Healthy, Yes, You Can Get Pregnant, Body Belief and her most recent book The Egg Quality Diet which was just released in June 2021
A licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in private practice in New York, Aimee is also the founder of the Aimee Raupp Beauty line of hand-crafted, organic skincare products.
What’s unique about Aimee’s publishing journey is that she traditionally published FIRST and then self-published. We’ll talk about that decision and her experience.
Here’s what we discuss in this episode:
- How Aimee empowers women to live in sync with their body
- Her pros/cons of both traditionally and self-publishing
- Connecting the dots between emotional and physical health
- Writing a book to BECOME an expert
- How social proof/workshopping/research leads to great books
- Energetically managing the road to authorship
