The holidays can be a really sensitive season for people. It’s a time where we feel that palpable slow down–the slowing of work and commitments. Projects and obligations start getting held over for the New Year.
And in that slow down, we’re left to feel our feelings more than usual. The holidays can trigger a lot of grief, loneliness and expectation. It highlights what we don’t have–what we long for.

Gina has been a psychotherapist for over 18 years, and has an active private practice in Manhattan, where she specializes in the many faces of grief and loss. One of her clinical passions is helping people to navigate healing in a way that helps them find their sense of meaning, and move forward more courageously to revise unhealthy patterns and achieve their goals.Gina also focuses on helping people to navigate uncertain, complicated life transitions.
